The PLS IAC Committee presents: Pharmacy Experience Without Borders: Experiential Education Outside the US! Jordan Long, PharmD, MBA, MS, BCPS, currently serves as the Director of Pharmacy at Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital, where he supports a team of 31 employees in delivering comprehensive pharmacy operations and clinical services. A 2017 graduate of Cedarville University, Jordan earned both his Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration concurrently before completing a two-year PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. Throughout his career, Jordan has been deeply committed to pharmacy leadership, serving as a former President of the APhA-ASP Cedarville Chapter and receiving the APhA National Student Leadership Award. He was elected to Phi Lambda Sigma as a pharmacy student at Cedarville University. In addition to his administrative leadership, Jordan has a long-standing passion for global pharmacy and clinical adaptation. During pharmacy school, Jordan supported a medical mission trip through developing a pharmacy formulary and inventory management system for a missions group serving in Ghana for multiple years. During his final year of graduate school, he gained unique international perspectives through an advanced pharmacy practice experience in Honduras on a medical mission trip, spending months preparing through formulary development and spending a week in country. During his residency, Jordan spent one month in the United Arab Emirates at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, supporting their pharmacy leadership and operations team and learning about healthcare in the Middle East.
